Magellan Health’s Challenge
With the rapid expansion of their behavioral health and specialty medical treatment services, Magellan needed to make over 100 annual hires to meet growing demand. However, they have a wide range of roles to fill, including Executive Level Roles, Managed Care, Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, Behavioral Health, Long Term Services Support, and Utilization Management positions in different US states.

Building a Successful Talent Solution
By working with Magellan’s existing recruitment team, Pierpoint examined their current talent attraction processes and created a customized solution that would meet their fluctuating talent needs. By supplementing their existing recruitment model with Partial and Full Life Cycle Recruitment services, Pierpoint created a scalable solution that could ramp up or down as needed to source the right candidates.
Through targeted recruitment marketing, Pierpoint created an employer branding campaign that attracted high-caliber candidates quickly and easily, achieving 95% hiring manager satisfaction.
By implementing SLAs and upgrading their existing technology stack, Pierpoint was able to create a process for tracking important recruitment data, including analysis of their time-to-source, time-to-fill, candidate quality, and recruitment success. This meant there was now a system in place for continually optimizing the hiring process.
