Accenture Fills 150 Sales Roles in 3 Weeks with High Volume Enterprise RPO Solution
Accenture PLC, a leading professional services company specializing in strategy, management, digital, information technology, and operations consulting, supports customers in over 120 countries and employs over 700,000 people worldwide.
With increased digital transformation and complex technology uptake amongst its customers and demand for Accenture’s strategic and consultative services, Accenture needed to increase its sales functions across the US to meet this increased demand.
Given the size and scale of the company, Accenture needed to ensure that when hiring large volumes of people they attract the right quality of candidate, represent their employer brand consistently, and meet their hiring needs within tight deadlines. While Accenture has a large internal hiring team, they were unable to attract the right quantity and quality of candidates, manage the full recruitment process, and generate useful analytics and data with their existing resources.
With over 500+ annual hires needed across their US offices for a wide range of sales roles, they needed an RPO partner who could meet their volume hiring needs, deliver a consistent recruitment experience to candidates and streamline their recruitment operations for the internal hiring team.

Building a Successful Talent Solution
Working with Accenture’s internal hiring team, Pierpoint designed a talent acquisition model that was both high-touch and flexible. Through a phased approach, Pierpoint created a solution that would scale their experienced resources quickly and then transition to support ongoing state volume hires.
By incorporating an agile pod methodology, Pierpoint worked with existing internal teams to redesign their recruitment processes with a series of candidate attraction activities that reinforced the employer brand and created diverse candidate talent pools.
This partnership focused on providing sourcing, interview coordination and screening, as well as full reporting and analytics services to create a solution that could scale to suit different hiring needs around the US.
With this strategy in place, Pierpoint quickly scaled their existing sales function to fill 150 roles in three weeks and then pivoted to support steady volume hiring at the state level, averaging 200 Tier 1 B2B sales hires per year.
